 A pathological liar cons the Canadian Mounties into a cruel charade. Through a complex web of cons and deceit, Richard Jones aka "Dick" offers to set-up a notorious Asian drug lord to the Canadian Mounties. Because of his cooperation with the authorities Dick ends up in the Witness Protection Program, where he commits murder. The Mounties get a lot more than just egg on their collective faces. Based on a true story.

 Frankie is a lonely white kid growing up as a minority in a black and Hispanic ghetto. Raised by his grandmother, his world abruptly changes when she dies. Lizzie, an aunt he has never met before, reluctantly comes to live with him temporarily to decide his fate. An unexpected relationship develops. They learn to face the difficult realities of this hostile environment together and teach one another about resiliency, love and the power of hope.
