Andrew Watson

ANDREW WATSON spent ten years working on stage as an aerialist and acrobat with the Cirque du Soleil and other famous European circuses. His performances earned him several awards and honors. Since 1987, Watson has moved up the Cirque du Soleil organization holding positions of trapeze artist, casting and training director, artistic coordinator and eventually becoming artistic director. Watson created the aerial acts and trained the acrobatic artists for the New Millennium Dome Central Show, presented in London. He was artistic director of the Varekai show, created in Montreal in 2002 and now an American tour, and has held the same position on the Cirque’s Zumanity at the New York New York Theatre in Las Vegas. Watson is currently working on Franco Dragone’s multi-million dollar extravaganza in Macau..
